Welcome to the launch of a new cohort of CIRO Connect!

We look forward to welcoming new participants of CIRO Connect at the launch of this cohort on the 12th and 13th May 2026 in Central Manchester.

About CIRO Connect

• CIRO Connect is an award-winning professional development programme designed to deepen understanding, advance careers, and plug skill gaps within the rail industry. Through interactive expert-led sessions and practical exercises, the course equips participants with a comprehensive understanding of how the rail system operates as an interconnected whole.
• The course is ideal for those working in support functions, as well as those looking to expand their whole system industry knowledge. The subject is brought to life using a unique mix of case studies, guest speakers, experiential learning, real life examples, theory, team-based and individual exercises, behavioural and leadership development, and reflection.
• Learners are taken on a ‘journey’ around the POD framework, with 12 taught sessions aligning with the 12 topics of the Professional Operators’ Development Framework.
