Biography

Tennessee Airdrie is the Head of People Strategy at the Rail Delivery Group (RDG) and has worked at the RDG for 6 years. She has undertaken a variety of roles during her time at RDG covering traincrew resourcing, operations, rail resilience, policing and security amongst other things. She started her rail career in the British Transport Police.

Tennessee is responsible for the delivery of Network Performance Board’s Operational Resourcing Pillar and the Industry’s Traincrew Programme, focussing on supporting the industry to deliver improvements in crew availability and productivity, the delivery of the industry’s Train Driver Academy Scheme, including driver training reform initiatives and is RDG’s Partner for the Rail HR Directors Forum activities. Her aim is to continue to work with industry partners to ensure the delivery of value-adding products and initiatives.
