The Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) was established in 1858 to help the people running the UK’s railways, and their families, to overcome hardships and challenges. Their vision is for a brighter future for railway people across the UK, and they work to support and improve the lives of current, former and retired workers and their families. They help someone every four minutes.
As a non-membership charity, their work is solely funded by the generosity of their supporters. Through donations, fundraisers and volunteer work, they have improved welfare across the industry for over 165 years.
CIRO have partnered with the Railway Benefit Fund to support their work. The railway workforce are at the heart of both CIRO and RBF, and this partnership will consolidate the work of both organisations.
