Level 5 Rail Operations Manager Apprenticeship Standard
The Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship is aimed at participants who are operations or departmental managers, who manage teams and/or projects, achieving departmental goals and objectives as part of the delivery of the organisational strategy.
Requirements for study:
A minimum of 6 hours per week spent in off-the job training
Apprentices aged 18 at the start of their apprenticeship, who do not yet have Maths and English qualifications at GCSE equivalent, will be required to undertake additional learning to complete Functional Skills Level 2.
Apprentices aged 19+ at the start of their apprenticeship who do not yet have Maths and English qualifications at GCSE equivalent, will have the option to undertake additional learning to complete Functional Skills Level 2.
The programme is over 27 months, plus 1 month for Gateway and 5 months for End Point Assessment (EPA)
Attendance at 11 face-to-face teaching days or online sessions for apprenticeship Standard content (approximately every 8 weeks), plus online mid module workshop sessions
Regular progress reviews with CIRO coach and line manager for support and to guide development opportunities
Access to online learning resources
Access to webinars for further learning and behavioural development
Access to CMI Management Direct management resource portal
End Point Assessment, carried out by an independent end point assessment organisation, includes delivery of a presentation and a professional review of their apprenticeship learning.
