Join us in Carlisle to discover the fascinating world of a Railfreight Specialist.

Our guest speaker is UK Railfreight Specialist Simon Walton, a talented and accomplished communications manager and UK correspondent for RailFreight.com / RailTech.com / World Cargo News (ProMedia Group). Publishing stories and insights about the rail and logistics industry in the UK, Europe, Asia and the world, Simon provides thought leadership, informed opinion, and concise news throughout the sector.

We may even find out find just how Simon went from behind the sound desk in a California radio studio to standing on the footplate of a freight locomotive. With a career portfolio more diverse than the cargo on a 1959 pick-up goods train, Simon has a long story to tell, but he’ll keep it on track and finish on time. In rail, you can’t ask for any more than that!
