The North East Area Council invites members to a presentation on the work of the Great British Railways Transition Team. The presentation will be delivered by Rufus Boyd, Programme Director, Passenger & Freight Services, GBRTT.
The GBR Transition Team seeks to deliver the most ambitious changes to our railways in a generation, working with the government and across the rail sector. The GBRTT is looking at changes to support the development of a new industry structure and considering ways in which the current system can be simplified and improved.
Rufus will be sharing with us more detail on the purpose of the GBRTT and the progress made so far. Rufus will also give an overview of passenger and freight initiatives that are under consideration or development.
We look forward to welcoming you at this event, which will give members the opportunity to network while enjoying light refreshments before the talk. We know that many members welcome the opportunity to meet industry colleagues and we will also adjourn to the ‘York Tap’ after the event for some drinks and a chat.
You can use the booking form at the bottom of this page to book an in-person space, or you can follow the below link to register for the webinar. The live webinar will start at 17:30 and in-person attendees are invited to attend from 17:00 where light refreshments will be available. Please note that you should aim for a prompt arrival, as the reception area at the Academy will not be resourced after 17:30hrs.
