The CIRO South East Area Council is looking for expressions of interest for a unique opportunity to join a study trip to Sweden. The trip will take place on the 15 and 16 October 2026 in Stockholm and will involve behind-the-scenes visits to a depot, control centre, and station (full plan to be confirmed).
We are kindly being hosted by SJ, the Swedish national operator. Travel to and from Stockholm, accommodation whilst we are there, and valid travel insurance to cover the duration of the trip will need to be arranged by each individual. Meals and travel while we are there will be coordinated by the organisers.
If you are interested in joining, please register your interest by close of play 08/05/26 and you will be contacted in due course to advise if you have a place.
