Overview:
SBS Transit is a major multi-modal public transport operator in Singapore that runs extensive bus networks in addition to as its automated underground North East Line and Downtown Line, alongside the Sengkang-Punggol Light Rail Transit systems.
Driving public transport performance and sustainability through major investments in AI-powered predictive maintenance, smart customer service initiatives, and eco-friendly depot operations, SBS Transit recorded 448.7 million rail passenger journeys in 2025. This represents a 1.7% increase on the previous year and exceeds the pre-pandemic level of 444.6 million trips recorded in 2019.
Guided by its culture of continuous improvement, SBS Transit is consistently looking towards innovation in public transport through research, technology and strategic partnerships.
