About The Event

Join us for an exciting evening with David Davidson, the Chief Operating Officer for South Eastern Railway which is the first integrated railway launched in June 2025 between Network Rail and its train operators. Following his appointment, he is accountable for the entire railway system in the south-east, from railway infrastructure and operations to fleet maintenance and driver operations – marking an important step towards Great British Railways (GBR).

In this talk David is going to share his journey to integration including how his team identified their north stars, reshaped the organisational structure and how they adapted along the way. He’ll share what’s changed for him personally, the tangible benefits they are already seeing and how this work supports the wider vision for GBR. From early wins to long-term ambitions, it’s a candid look at what integration really means in practice, why it matters and how it’s setting us up for future success.
