Lumo – One Year Since Reimagining Rail

About the Event

Launched in October 2021, Lumo is a new, 100% electric rail service owned by FirstGroup that runs services between London King’s Cross, Newcastle and Edinburgh Waverley along the East Coast Main Line. It provides greener and cheaper long-distance travel for over 1 million passengers every year. Join us for a valuable insight into launching a new Train Operating Company; a look back on one year of operation and a look forward to what’s ahead.

Matthew was appointed as Lumo’s Commercial and Customer Experience Director in March 2020 and has 14 years of railway industry experience. He was responsible for successfully mobilising the new open access operator Lumo, Matthew is also a graduate from the Institution of Railway Operators Degree programme and supports a number of mentees across the industry.

How to Attend

You must register to attend this event, and you can do so by using the booking form below. Spaces must be reserved by 08:00 on Friday 2nd September. After the even is finished, we invite attendees to join us for a social drink and network at a local, near-by venue.
