Grand Central and NIROC Visit

Join CIRO Irish Area Council for a tour of the new Grand Central transport hub in Belfast City on Saturday the 20th September.

This £340m hub opened in 2024 replacing the Great Victoria Street with significantly more platforms and capacity as well as significantly improved passenger facilities. Grand Central has played its part in the continued resurgence of rail in Northern Ireland and the Post Covid ridership recovery. Afterwards you will visit the Northern Ireland Rail Operating Centre, where signalling and control of the Translink network is progressively being transferred to. The tour will start at Grand Central Station at 10:00hrs.
