CIRO’s Scottish Area Council invite you to a truly unique and memorable experience – an exclusive visit to the top of the iconic Forth Bridge.
This immersive event offers a handful of members the rare opportunity to access this UNESCO World Heritage structure and experience breath-taking 360-degree panoramic views across the Forth, Edinburgh, and Fife from high above the estuary.
Standing 361 feet above the water, the visit provides a perspective of one of Scotland’s most celebrated engineering achievements that few people ever experience.
The Forth Bridge, opened in 1890, remains one of the world’s most significant structures and continues to be a vital part of Scotland’s Railway. Its distinctive cantilever design and striking size and ‘Forth Bridge red’ finish make it one of the most photographed landmarks in Scotland.
The visit will include:
• An introduction to the history and construction of the bridge
• A full safety briefing
• Lift access to a high-level viewing platform atop the structure
• A unique opportunity to experience the bridge from the perspective of the team responsible for managing the structure.
