Crich Tramway Museum

Hosted by CIRO Midlands Area Council

Saturday 12th July

About the Event

The Midlands Area Council will be holding their Annual Family Day at the Crich Tramway Museum.

Our Family Day is a great day out and gives the opportunity for partners and children of members to enjoy a great day out with fellow members. Dogs on leads are also welcome.

Take a tram ride through time at Crich Tramway Village, home of The National Tramway Museum – an ideal destination for all ages. Visitors can ride our world renowned vintage trams through our unique period street and out into the open countryside for spectacular views, explore fascinating exhibitions and watch as trams are restored from our Workshop Viewing Gallery. This captivating journey into history is made complete with a stroll on our fascinating Woodland Walk and Sculpture Trail and a trip to our unique Red Lion Pub, tearooms and shops.

The Members of the Area Council will be meeting to eat their picnics at 13.00 and we would love to see you for a chat, the location of this will be confirmed closer to the time.
Look forward to seeing you on the day!

Due to the popularity of last year’s family event places have been increased to 50 for this visit. So register as soon as possible so that the organisers can manage the numbers.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
