About the Event

Join the Midlands Area Council for a behind the scenes tour of Birmingham New Street Station on Wednesday 13th May.

This visit will provide a unique opportunity to explore the inner workings of the UK’s busiest station outside of London. Attendees will gain insight into how the station team manages the complex operational demands of such a major transport hub while maintaining a positive passenger experience. The guided tour will highlight key aspects of station operations and the coordination required to keep services and passengers moving safely and smoothly.

Event details:
Arrival time: 10:15 to allow for time to sign in
Tour start: 10:30 sharp
Duration: Approximately 1–1½ hours
Meeting point: Station Reception (next to Starbucks)
PPE not required

How to Attend

Please note that  is a CIRO members only event as visitor numbers are limited. Registering your interest does not guarantee a place.

Register your interest by 5th May and ensure that you are free to attend.  If the event is oversubscribed, attendees will be selected via a draw conducted the week before the visit, and those successful will be contacted directly.
