At this in-person event in Glasgow, you’ll get the chance to visit Scotland’s Rail Operating Centre (ROC), meet the team who manage Scotland’s Railway in real-time in the control room, and visit the West of Scotland signalling centre.
Hosted by Barry McLaughlin, Route Control Manager for Network Rail Scotland, you’ll meet senior operations staff who manage Scotland’s Railway and learn about how the team (Network Rail, TOC, FOC and British Transport Police) work together to keep passenger and freight services running and manage any incidents or events which happen across the country.
Barry will give a short presentation on Scotland Control, before we break into smaller groups to tour the control room and signalling centre.
