Dave joined the railway industry in its previous nationalised guise in the West Midlands in 1977. He has held numerous senior appointments during his career with both passenger and freight businesses. An operator by trade, he joined the fledgling Rail Operations Group in 2012 where he revolutionised rolling stock delivery and movement. Until recently Dave held the role of CEO for the Group. He oversaw the final delivery and entry of the Class 93 into service before stepping back into an advisory role earlier this year. Dave currently sits on the CIRO Board as Freight Representative.
