To regionalise our communities, every membership area of the CIRO has its own Area Council which works within the local vicinity to recruit new members and put together a varied and exciting program of events and opportunities.

Seven Area Councils are located throughout the UK and Ireland.

On each of the Area Council pages you will find regional rail operations news, information about upcoming regional events and seminars, activities, depot visits, speaker dates and much more. You can also access information about your Area Council members, all of whom are available to support our members, in developing your skills and experience in rail operations.
