With 37 locations and almost 6,000 employees, Alstom is the UK and Ireland’s leading supplier of new trains and train services, and a major signalling and rail infrastructure provider.
Having been part of the fabric of rail for two centuries, Alstom’s facility in Derby is the only train factory in the UK able to design, engineer, build and test trains for domestic and export markets.
The company also operates major sites at Crewe, Glasgow (Polmadie), Plymouth, Widnes and Old Oak Common in London, along with 30 additional depots and offices across the UK and Ireland.
