As the completion of the refurbishment of the magnificent roof structure at Bristol Temple Meads looms ever closer, the CIRO South West & Wales Area Council share a unique opportunity to enjoy a glimpse of the works, learn about the project and view operations at the station from above. This is not for the faint hearted and guests will require a head for heights and unfortunately, as this is not an easily accessible site, attendees must have the ability to climb a series of narrow steep steps.
Ideally full PPE is required for this visit although a small supply of hard hats, gloves and glasses may be available (please specify if these are required).
As a minimum you will need to provide your own a HV top and safety shoes/boots.
Guests will be escorted by members of the station team and on-site contractors.
The tour will last approximately 60 minutes including time for questions.
POD sections:
