Railway Children keep children safe across the world. Their work focusses on making the railways safe for children, who often use public transport to run away from home, by promoting a culture of safeguarding among rail professionals. Since 1995, they have saved and changed the lives of vulnerable children in India, Tanzania and the UK.
They create safety nets across transport organisations to identify vulnerable children and bring them to safety, before providing ongoing support to the children and their families. This work is funded by donations and fundraising events, and powered by volunteers and the professionals that engage with their training.
CIRO wholly support this endeavour and are proud to be partnered with Railway Children.
