Change is coming to the railways; while most patronage has returned following the pandemic the financial strains on the industry are still clear to see. A new Railways Act is due to come before Parliament to set up ‘Great British Railways’. How will that improve life for the travelling public? What will a new Prime Minister’s priorities be for rail and the public transport sector?
The South East Area Council is delighted to have the opportunity to invite members to a special ‘in person’ event at the Palace of Westminster. Hosted by former CIRO South East Area Council Chair and current MP, Chris Loder, the event will give the opportunity for members to listen to a parliamentarian’s view on the issues of the railway today and the future of rail, along with a good Q&A.
The event is strictly by ticket only and you can reserve your space by using the booking form below. Spaces must be reserved by Wednesday 16th November at 08:00. You must be logged in to the website to book a ticket. If you are having trouble logging in, or have any queries, please email Fiona at cpd@railwayoperators.co.uk. A light buffet will be provided at a nearby pub afterwards. Please indicate when booking if you would like to stay for this and if you have any allergens.
This event is fully booked.
