Regardless of a learner’s level of experience within rail operations, The Game offers valuable knowledge and insights of each section to those immersing themselves within the sections available.

How does it work?

Hosted within Rail Academy, CIRO’s innovative new game provides its members with an interactive facility to learn by working through a series of tasks and challenges across differing operational functions. Working through levels including Control Room Operations and a Planning Department, The Game tasks members to develop their knowledge of these sectors through a mixture of learning methods.

Members can access Rail Academy with their individual log-in details and follow the prompts to get to The Game. Once logged in to the system, learners will be tasked with working through the levels following the instructions provided within The Game.

The learner will be prompted to speak with the interactive characters throughout each level, choosing how they interact and the level of knowledge they wish to take from any of the characters before moving forward to each section. Learners can ask questions, recap previous conversations, or delve deeper into the knowledgebase of each encountered character.

Regardless of a learner’s level of experience within rail operations, The Game offers valuable knowledge and insights of each section to those immersing themselves within the sections available. The ability to interact as much or as little as necessary with some of the pivotal Game characters ensure learners can move forward on each section with confidence.
