About the Event

Join us for a talk by Chris Nutton. Chris will present an interesting insight into the work that goes planning an operational railway around the multibillion-pound TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) rail investment. Chris will look at good practice and lessons learned from TRU blockades and customer feedback.

This will be a fun and informative presentation and there will be time for Q&A, after the presentation.

How to Attend

The North West & Wales Area Council look forward to welcoming you to their event. Attendees will meet at the platform 1 ticket barrier at Manchester Piccadilly station at 17:00 and will be escorted to the building and taken through security. All attendees must have photo ID.

Anyone wishing to bring their own car must advise the North West and Wales Area Council with at least 24 hours’ notice to allow us to advise the security staff – contact events@railwayoperators.co.uk or call Liz Walker on 07311 060603
